About me
Kate is the Open Educational Resources Librarian in the Open Education Services Department at University of Houston. In her role, she helps manage the Alternative Textbook Incentive Program, assists faculty in the adoption, adaptation, and creation of OER, and consults and partners with instructors and students engaging in open pedagogy. Prior to joining UH in August 2022, she was a Research & Instruction Librarian at UH-Clear Lake, where she provided information literacy instruction and research assistance for students and faculty, engaged in outreach and promotional efforts, and supported scholarly communications work.
