About me
I'm Valérie Payen Jean Baptiste, Doctor in Education Sciences.
My research interests focus on the multiplicity of ways of accessing, acquiring and producing knowledge, and on the mediation maintained between the appropriation of digital technologies and the skills developed in relation to technologies in communities of practice.
My thesis, on learning and skills development processes in the informal sector of digital technology sales and repair in Haiti, was rewarded for its originality and contribution to educational science research with the second thesis prize of the Groupe Interdisciplinarité Innovation et Formation (GIS2IF) for 2023.
My experience in scientific research, as well as my professional and academic background, have enabled me to develop expertise in qualitative research, particularly ethnographic research, the design and development of training projects and the analysis of work in communities of practice.
