About me
April Crenshaw is an Associate Professor of Mathematics with two decades of combined experience in K-12 and higher education. An award-winning educator and sought-after conference speaker, she has gained national recognition for her innovative and inclusive teaching methods. Professor Crenshaw is deeply committed to making education accessible to all students by integrating equity principles into her courses and advocating for policies that dismantle barriers for historically marginalized groups. She is also a doctoral candidate in the Leadership and Learning in Organizations (LLO) Program at Vanderbilt University, where she is set to graduate in May 2025.
At home, April is a devoted wife and a loving mother.
